Blume Summer Camp is a new kind of family festival.
For the tired and wired who long to be wild and free.
Three days of music, food, nature and craft. Tucked away in a beautiful pocket of English countryside.
The headliners are on early, so you still get the tunes and enjoy the morning after.
Learn to build a fire and cook over it together. Find your way through the woods. Swim in a lake. Make something with your hands.
Lowkey on purpose.
Follow the trail and see.
a new kind of family festival
FOR THE GROWN-UPS
Tired and wired to wild and free
We’re designing Blume around actual family life. Things to do together, adventures for the kids to revel in, and time to find some breathing space of your own.
Plenty of places to have one eye on the kids whilst enjoying your own moment or two.
Take a sauna. Go for a dip. Find the listening bar. Dance in the day. Or sit under a tree and do absolutely nothing.
for the kids
Space for grace.
Kids have their own ideas about the good stuff. Dens, sticks, climbing things they probably shouldn’t and the ability to make a new best mate in under seven minutes. Give them a little space and they tend to work the rest out themselves.
We’re keeping Blume small enough for children to follow their curiosity and get properly stuck into nature.
There’ll also be supervised adventures, led by brilliant people who know exactly what they’re doing. The kind they’ll come back from exhausted and desperate to tell you all about.
For The Teens
Don’t make it weird.
We’ve all been one so let’s be honest. Teenagers need their own space. Somewhere to hang out, meet people and do things without feeling like a parent is hovering nearby.
There’ll be plenty of places curated with this in mind. Learn to mix (records, not drinks), try parkour or hang out at the hammock hotel.
But we also want to create the kind of experiences they might actually want to share with you, as radical as that sounds.
welcome to stapleford
Blume Summer Camp takes place at Stapleford Estate, in the heart of the Leicestershire countryside.
Woods to get lost in. A stream to paddle in. Fields to run across. An old miniature railway running through it. And enough space for music, food, fires, camping and whatever else we decide to hide amongst the trees.
For three days, we’re turning a corner of the estate into our own little world.
Meet in the Middle
Finding it harder than ever to meet with your favourites?
Your crew has migrated all over the UK and it's harder than ever to find the time and a place to meet. Blume is happening somewhere in the middle so the journey is doable for everyone.
The average journey by car is;
London - 2.5hrs
Newcastle - 3hrs 20
Manchester - 2hrs 45
Bristol - 3hrs
We made Blume for a simple reason. To bring families together in nature.
Life gets busy. Screens multiply. Weeks disappear like days.
So we’re building Blume around the things we want more of in our own life. More time outside, more freedom, good food and maybe a few new tricks up our sleeve when it comes to growing, cooking and adventures.
We’re Dan and Molly. We have two boys and between us we’ve spent a fair amount of our lives creating, performing at and attending festivals.
Now we’re making one together.
